| Former music DJ takes on the role of wedding planner | | Posted Wednesday, February 08, 2006 3:01:28 PM by Rose Martins | Former wedding DJ, Mark Shaffer has shifted roles. He once played DJ at the wedding reception but now he's the wedding planner. Shaffer has bought into a franchise called the Perfect Wedding Guide. According to Shaffer, "The bride can plan her entire wedding from one booklet." During his wedding DJ days, he too, advertised in the Perfect Wedding Guide Booklet. 
Whether the bride to be is looking for music for the ceremony or reception, if she wants processional music, a piano playing in the background, traditional Christian wedding music, Irish wedding music, Jewish wedding music or the traditional wedding march - the booklet is the place for the bride to find what she is looking for.
Most brides would prefer to hear a sample of the music that will be potentially played at their wedding ceremony and perhaps reception. The advertisers listed in the Perfect Wedding Guide Booklet, will be happy to send a short music clip for the bride (and her fiancé) to listen to.
Shaffer realised the need to take things a step further, and opened up the Bridal Showcase in Las Vegas. The Bridal Showcase is a physical extension of the Perfect Wedding Guide Booklet.

And if this disc is anything to go by, they've been doing just fine without us and we've been missing out on something great.Who and what are Wishing Chair? Well in the simplest terms they are a folk-roots partnership made up of Miriam Davidson and Kiya Heartwood based out of Kentucky but seemingly touring all the time.
