The award-winning crooner will be appearing at the Usher Hall, on Lothian Road, on April 7. Ball, a multi-platinum recording artist, has been one of Britain's leading musical stars for more than 20 years. Among his best-known roles are Frederic in The Pirates of Penzance; Marius in Les Miserables; Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera and Alex in Aspects of Love at the Prince of Wales Theatre. Most recently, Ball has been on Broadway starring as Reginald Bunthorne in Gilbert and Sullivan's Patience.
