Brown (2-4, 1-2 Ivy League) opened the scoring on its first possession when DiGiacomo found Colin Cloherty on a 51-yard touchdown pass with 8:51 remaining in the first quarter. DiGiacomo completed 17 of 27 passes for 183 yards. Cornell (2-4, 0-3) countered with 7:26 left in the first half when Nathan Ford hit Jesse Baker with a 12-yard scoring strike to cap a seven-play, 36-yard drive and make it 7-7 at halftime. Brown went ahead to stay when Cloherty grabbed his second scoring pass of the day, a 13-yard reception from DiGiacomo with 10:04 left in the third. Cloherty finished with six catches for 94 yards. Dereck Knight paced the Bears with 96 rushing yards on 11 carries.... | |
